You have no idea how much of an honor this is to be writing to the CEO of my favorite candy company, M & M’s. I have been eating M & M’s since I was 2 ½. My mother used to give them to me so I wouldn’t yell and scream. I guess I was a behavioral problem.
Boy do I have an idea for the Mars Candy Company. Unless you’re ready to get rich, don’t read any further. Are you familiar with the southwest Arabian country of Yemen? Although a tiny country, there are millions of people who live and eat candy there. Can you imagine the explosion in the mid east candy industry by opening the Yemen market and packaging your regular M & M’s candy under the label of Yemen M’s?
This would be a great situation for everyone involved. People from Yemen would feel honored knowing you were paying tribute to their country by naming a delicious candy after them. In return, I’m sure the Yemen M’s sales numbers will speak for themselves. Yemen M’s would be a natural since the climate in Yemen is extremely hot, and everybody knows, your candy melts in your mouth, not in your hands.
Please write me back at your earliest convenience to discuss the next step. One obstacle I see at this point is, you would need to print a “Y” instead of the traditional “M” on each candy. For your review, I have attached illustrations detailing the packaging of
Yemen M’s plain and peanut candy. I look forward to a swift response, so we may all get to work in preparing for the launch of the newest product to satisfy any sweet tooth in the mid east, Yemen M’s.
